Litho Order Lead Times Are Extending

As we navigate an exciting 2024, demand for steel pails remains exceptionally strong with a recent surge in new orders to all our locations.

This surge in the past couple of weeks is primarily due to an unforecasted increase in *lithography orders, leading to our extended lead times.

*Lithographed steel pails, especially those with 4+ color processes, require significantly more man hours to produce than a standard painted steel pail.

Key Changes to Note:

  • Extended Lead Times: To manage the current demand, we’ve adjusted our lead times from the usual 2-3 weeks to 5-8 weeks. This change ensures we maintain the same quality and service you expect from us.
  • Reasons for Change: The increase in litho demand and a significant number of orders following our Q2 price announcement have contributed to these adjustments.

We understand the importance of timely delivery and are committed to getting your orders to you as efficiently as possible. I am proud to write that our On Time Performance increased from 92% in March 2024 to 94% in April 2024!
