Order Modification Policy Update and Lead Times

September 30, 2025 | By Jeff Swan | Topics: Lead Times, Press Release

We’re always looking for ways to better support your operations and improve customer service.

Following a recent review with our plant leadership and management team, we’ve made an important change to our steel pail order policy, providing you with more flexibility when planning production.

Effective today, our order change/cancellation policy has been decreased from 15 working days to 10 working days prior to your scheduled production date.

For example, if your order is scheduled to begin production on October 20, 2025, you now have until the end of the day on October 6, 2025, to request a move, change, or cancellation.

Great News!
Lead Times Are 3 Weeks

We have continued to make progress in reducing lead times, and we’re now at three weeks across all our plants.

Thanks to increased capacity and current order flow, we’re shipping most orders faster and more consistently than before. We’ll continue to monitor demand closely, but currently, we’re in a strong position to respond quickly and maintain stable lead times.

I want to update you on steel pricing, tariffs, and our lead times. As a reminder, CSC buys most of our steel through annual contracts.
